Description
A horse-drawn vehicle selling sweets and ice cream in front of the Pike Brothers store in Eastport. The large sign reads “Confectionary and Stationary.” The sign to the left side of the door reads "Cigars."
In 2011 Helen Archer of Eastport’s Border Historical Society wrote that “I believe this was the store that was later known as Pike & Kilby’s, and it was right on Main Street.” This is an early halftone postcard.
