Description
Gerald McGee, eighth municipal organist, 1983-1988, is shown at the console of the Kotzschmar Memorial Organ at City Hall in Portland.
McGee, also the organist at St. Luke's Cathedral in Portland, instituted a series of silent films with organ accompaniment and presented a festival to celebrate Edwin H. Lemare and his music during his tenure as municipal organist.
