Description

This building was called the Eliot Hotel in 1890, situated on a knoll above the Piscataqua River at the former site of the Hanscom shipyard. A failure as a hotel, it became a gathering place for members of all religions to discuss spiritual subjects. Today it is the Sarah Farmer Inn and is part of the Green Acre Baha'i School property in Eliot.
