Description
This is the cover of the program for Louis Spohr's dramatic oratorio "The Fall of Babylon"
presented Wednesday and Thursday evenings, June 16 and 17, 1880. There is a note on the program saying that this would be the first presentation of the work in this country. Hermann Kotzschmar conducted, and Miss Fannie E. Jordan was the pianist.
