Description
Made by Chestina Blaisdell Urann in 1861 using the "Hexagone" or "Merry Go Round" mosaic pattern. In the 1920s, the pattern became known as "Grandmother's Flower Garden." She used wool and cotton and, perhaps, silk, appliqued onto a heavy linsey/woolsey (perhaps) fabric backing.
