Description
This view from the belfry of the Congregational Church looks northwest with Eureka Street in the foregound. Johnson Bay is in the background and in the far distance the long peninsula known as North Lubec. The two narrow houses down the slope on the right betray the characteristic narrow shape of the so-called “sardine houses” provided for workers in packing plants.
This is #3 in a series of twelve photos.
