Description
Surry Volunteer Fire Department's very first fire truck. An "old" truck was modified to create the fire truck and a water tank was mounted on the rear. Note on the side of the truck the letters SVFD which stand for Surry Volunteer Fire Department followed by the date 2.12.47. The man at the front of the fire truck is Luther Carter, Fire Chief.
