Description
Until it burned in November 1913, all grades in Lubec were taught at “Hilltop School.” Photographed at the front door, this photo is labelled “High School Faculty.” The gentleman rear left is Roscoe C. Emery, Principal. Emery graduated from Colby College in Waterville, ca. 1903 and served as Waterville principal before moving to Lubec.
