Description
Cony High School in Augusta is featured on a Tichnor Brothers postcard promoting tourism and travel. The caption reads, "Cony High School, Augusta, Maine."
The flatiron-style structure was dedicated in 1930 as an expansion of an 1880s structure. The school was renovated again in the 1960s, and in 2006 a new building was erected to educate middle and high school students in the Augusta area.
The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1930-1945.
