Description
The steamer Gurnet approaching the wharf at Little Diamond Island in Casco Bay. Before it became a popular tourist destination in the 19th and 20th centuries, Little Diamond was known as Little Hog.
The caption reads, "Steamer Gurnet approaching Little Diamond Island Wharf, Maine." The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1930-1945.
