Description
Maine publishers Guy Gannett and Percy V. Hill and Central Maine Power Co. president Walter S. Wyman founded the Augusta Country Club on June 30, 1916. The grounds are located at the former Brainyard Farm and the Hammond Homestead on Route 202 in Manchester.
The caption reads, "Augusta Country Club, Augusta, Maine." The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1930-1945.
