Description
A tourist postcard of the fountain in State Street Park, now called Cascade Park, in Bangor. The dark night sky draws the viewer's attention to the fountain lit with electric lights, which was still a relative novelty in 1930s Maine. The caption reads, "Electric fountain in State Street Park at night, Bangor, Maine."
The Tichnor Brothers of Boston published this type of postcard circa 1930-1945.
