Description
A Tichnor Brothers postcard of the Electric Fountain and Falls in Bangor around 1935. The fountain and waterfall were constructed in the early 1930s and are part of Cascade Park. The park was built with help from the CWA (Civil Works Administration), which was part of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Federal Emergency Relief Administration (FERA).
The caption reads, "Electric fountain and Falls, State Street Park, Bangor, Maine."
