Description
The caption reads, "Bangor House, Bangor, Maine." One of the most important buildings in Bangor at this time, it was used as one of the hotels for the booming lumber industry. Designed by architect Charles Bryant, and located on the corners of Maine and Union streets, it did manage to escape destruction during the great fire of 1911.
The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1930-1945.
