Description
Building a bridge across an ocean channel requires temporary trestlework. This photo shows preparation for a bridge from Lubec to Campobello Island (across the channel) at dead low tide: notice the height of the trestlework above the still water. A Coast Guard navigational aid is visible at the extreme right side.
