Description
Lt. Charles Bridges, quartermaster of the 8th Infantry Corps d'Afrique in New Orleans, bought $15 worth of supplies from Dr. W.H. Hatch in New Orleans.
Bridges, a native of Castine, served in the 2nd Maine Infantry before receiving a commission as a lieutenant in the 8th Infantry Regiment.
