Description
Annie Heald was the daughter of John Wood Jr. and Martha Pray Wood. Her grandfather John Wood Sr. was instrumental in the settlement of Lovell.
She married Josiah Heald, and had a daughter, Mary. She donated the land where the Annie Heald School was built. The school burned, and the site is now the "Village Green" with the C.E.Hobbs Memorial Library on one side of the area, and a public playground and tennis court at the rear of the property.
The Heald home was the brick house just south of the library and park area.
