Description
The Fryeburg-Lovell stage.
In tall hat at left John C. Poland Sr. At right Edward F. Poland.
Stage driver Dean Wiley was a Lovell resident.
The photo was taken in front of the twin house on Main Street in Fryeburg.
Rails of the Fryeburg horse railway that ran from the depot (Portland & Ogdensburg later Mountain Division of the Maine Central RR) to the Chatauqua Grounds.
