Description
The front cover of a Minstrel Show "given by students of Surry High School". The show was presented on Friday evening, April 20, 1917 at the Town Hall in Surry. Note the ornate design in the center of the program.
Minstrel shows were a big hit; primarily a musical event having had a great influence on musical theatre.
