Description
Twenty-eight employees of the Forest Paper Co. in Yarmouth pose in front of a large pile of poplar wood that rail cars delivered for the soda pulp process at the mill.
During the Yarmouth mill's most prosperous years, the company employed upwards of 250 men and had a payroll of $150,000.
