Description
School children and adults waiting to walk onto the first ferry, the William S. Silsby during the ceremony on Sunday March 13, 1960. The "Lee" house is in the far left corner, where Captain Henry Lee and his family lived; the house was built by the Joyce family. The Joyce boatbuilding barn is between the Lee House and the ferry dock.
