Description
Miriam Haley of Sebago tells her husband, William Haley, Jr. about the health of their child Billy who “has not had one of his fits all day and it is ten O clock and he is sleeping sweet.” She has visited two different doctors who have given contradictory advice and she descibes their diagnoses.
She states she feels “pretty well about you not thinking of you going into battle now.”
She reports on the farm matters: Joe will cut some “sorrel down in the sheeps pasture before it goes to seed and Seth is agoing to cut the hay.” She mentions two men from Sebago who have come home from the war.
