Description
This classic example of the cape (“Cape Cod”) style home originated in 17th Century New England and featured symmetry with a central chimney, here with the typical utility add-on at the rear. This example is identified as the home, in 1975, of Fred Tyler. It is sited on lower Crow’s Neck Road in Trescott, possibly the second driveway on the left and hidden by heavy alder growth. Son Joe Tyler used the place as a second home for years.
