Description
The only signage readable in this fine photograph is on the window partially obscured by a utility pole, “R. J. Peacock Canning Co.” The company, founded in 1894, was at this date one of two remaining packing plants in Lubec, operated by Robert S. Peacock and Milroy Warren. Now, after former building occupants Nordic Delights Foods, Inc. having moved away from Lubec, this building houses only clerical work.
