Description
This manuscript map shows the layout of the Fort Village which is now Augusta, as it was in 1794.
This original plan was drawn in 1853 by Charles E. Hamlin, under the direction of his grandfather, Perez Hamlin (1777-1860).
This copy is dated February 9, 1860.
