Description

William Brown of Sebago, a solider in the 25th Maine Regiment, wrote to Benjamin Cole in Sebago, to tell him that his son, Pvt. Charles Cole was quite sick and probably not going to recover.

Brown had written a week earlier to tell the family that Cole was sick with a fever.
