Main & Alfred Streets Biddeford, looking over the Pepperell Mills. City hall and St. Joseph church upper far right
Trolley and old vehicles on Main & Alfred St. at the same corner is the Central Hotel (now gone) on the other corner is the Puritan Tea House and next on Main St. is the Staples block joined with the Oren Staples Marble block and Hooper block.
The photo was taken from the chimney on the banks of Saco river on the Laconia division of the Pepperell Mfg. Co. photo taken same day after construction in Oct. 2, 1915
