Description
York Mills roof buildings in Main St., Saco, looking north. On the left is Cutts Island showing Cutts mansion with its long stairway. The Cutts mansion was moved about 1937, to another area of Saco after that section was bought by the Cumberland Electric Power Co. to build Cateract Dam for water power.
The photo was taken by Louis Daignault from the Laconia Division of the Pepperell Mfg. Co. chimney 251 feet in height. The same day the chimney was completed
