Description
Three women and a child pose for a photograph on the side of a house. From the left hand side is Phebe Lord Fowler with hair pulled tightly back, wearing glasses and a long black coat. She was born to Benjamin and Jemima Lord on November 17, 1841 and was the youngest of five children.
Phebe was married three times. Her first husband Sandford Smith died in1860. Captain Isaac Treworgy became Phebe's second husband on February 6, 1864. The marriage was short lived as Captain Treworgy died on December 9, 1865 in Chelsea, Massachusetts. Phebe's third husband was Olin Fowler. They were married on April 17, 1870 and had three children at the old Morgan Bay Road farm. Olin died in 1922 and Phebe died in 1925 at the age of 84.
