Description
The Surry Playhouse was closed for seven years and re-opened in 1946 with a tea room named the Blue Lantern which served lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. In addition to dining the Blue Lantern offered pottery, textiles and antiques for sale adorned with a "Blue Lantern".
