Description
At right is the Ocean View Hotel owned by Captain Charles Herrick. It is located at 241 Harbor Road and in 2012 was owned by Eric and Fran Chetwynd as their summer home.
The house beyond that is the Sam Stinson home located at 257 Harbor Rd and owned by his great-granddaughter, Lotti Staples Uber. The house in the center belonged to Tom & Lyda (Lunt) Higgins and in 2012 belonged was their grandson’s (Leonard Russell) summer home.
Notice the cannon on the Hotel lawn facing the road.
