Description
This bird's-eye view shows the Togus home for veterans. Each building is drawn on the view and an index tells the names of each.
This facility was the first of its kind established to serve disabled veterans after the Civil War. Today, one of the buildings is on the National Historic Register.
The full title of this view is, "Eastern Branch, National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, Togus, Me."
