Description
Admission ticket to the Dance of Contention Cove Summer Colony on August 26, ca. 1928 at the Rural Hall on the Surry Road. Admission to the event was 25 cents.
Misses Margaret Leviston of Winthrop, Massachusetts, Ruth Middlemas of Brighton, Mass., and Ruth Colpak, of Brookline, Mass., returned Saturday to their college, Boston University Art School,after a week at Contention Cove.
Contention Cove was located on the Surry Road heading towards Ellsworth where they were the guests of Miss Ruth Bellatty of Surry, a fellow classmate.
The four girls with the assistance of Misses Alice and Edith Adams of Ellsworth and Misses Ansonette Beckwith and Betty Bellatty of Boston, it is said gave a very enjoyable college dancing party for the Contention Cove summer colony at Rural Hall on the Surry Road.
