Description

A Tichnor Brothers postcard of Deering High School in Portland from around 1938. Completed in 1924, Deering High School was designed by John P. Thomas and was modeled after English Tudor architecture. This school replaced the old, and much smaller, Deering High School after it was damaged by a fire in 1921.

The caption reads, "Deering High School, Portland, Me."
