Description
The Sandman Motel was located along Route 1 in South Portland. At the time this postcard was produced, the year-round hotel sat near the Howard Johnson Restaurant and was managed by Danny Danforth.
The caption reads, "The Sandman Motel, U.S. Route #1, So. Portland, Maine."
The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1938.
