Description
Butter Point Farm was a seasonal inn on the Dutch Neck peninsula in Waldoboro. Advertisements for the inn in the 1930s boasted its country location and proximity to the sea, as well as opportunities for dancing, boating, tennis, hiking, and bathing. At the time this postcard was produced, Frances B. Quiner was the manager of Butter Point Farm.
The caption reads, "Butter Point Farm Inn, Dutch Neck, Waldoboro, Maine."
The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1938.
