Description
Webhannet Court Motel was one of many hotels catering to the growing number of summer tourists in Wells Beach, Maine throughout the 20th century. The motel sat along Route 1 in the Webhannet area of Wells under ownership of the Dwyers and was open from May through September. Advertisements bearing the motto “Live graciously by the seashore” boasted deluxe housekeeping units and motel rooms accommodating two to six people.
The caption reads, "Webhannet Court Motel, "on the beach," Wells Beach, Maine."
The Tichnor Brothers printing company published this type of postcard circa 1938.
