Description
The nearer house was built for Edward Mark Lawrence (1862 - ?), the farther for Elias P. (Pike?) Lawrence (1859 - 1910). Sons of Moses Pike Lawrence, (ca. 1837 - 1889) and Lavina Saunders (1838 - 1893) and also related to Col. John Allan (1745/6 - 1805), the two operated the Lawrence Brothers (sardine) Packing Company in North Lubec. As of 2012 Elias’ home remains in the family,
