Description
George Washington, (1732-1799) was a Revolutionary War general and the first President of the United States serving from 1789-1797.
The Herculaneum Pottery in Liverpool, England, made the piece in about 1800. It is called Washington in Glory, America in Tears.
One side reads "Washington in Glory" and the obverse reads "Peace, Plenty and independence."
