Description
Black and white photo shows students and teachers standing on two ladders leaning against side of Gore School, Otisfield.
The only individuals identified are teacher Ruby Jillson in plaid dress; student Helen Brett, standing next to teacher; and Helen Ahonen, bottom left.
The one-room brick schoolhouse was built after 1830 and demolished and replaced after 1922. Several students appear on the schoolhouse roof.
