Description
The Deering High School girls basketball team won the state championship in both 1925 and 1926. Their 1926 season resulted in ten wins and one loss. Their only loss was against the South Portland High School Capers, the final score was 24-22.
The girl holding the basketball is captain Francis E. Johnson and and the girl wearing the matching coat is Norma Grover.
