Description
Granville R. Lee presents Miss Portland with a bouquet of flowers at the Deering Oaks playground. Lee was superintendent of playgrounds in Portland.
On Saturday August 30, 1924, the Oaks playground held a patriotic pageant presented by the children of the city. Lee, the director of the playgrounds oversaw the entire event.
Miss Portland arrived as the guest of honor and was received with a grand applause.
