Description
Lieutenant A. V. Macauley stands in front of a plane at the 2nd annual aviation meet at Old Orchard Beach.
He, along with Lts. Connell, Pitts, Brandt, Watson, and Brunelli were flying to Old Orchard from Mitchells Field, New York. These pilots arrived to the meet on Friday, August 29, 1924 behind schedule, causing some of the day's events to be canceled.
