Description
In 1970 a historic preservation report listed the Amos Davis house as the oldest house in Lewiston.
It was built between 1780 and 1790 at the foot of Davis Mountain and moved (according to Gridley Barrows) in the 1860s or 1870s to the corner of Main and Whipple Streets at 418 Main Street.
