Description
Horace W. Shaylor Sr. was both a penman and artist. This drawing is one of many photographically reproduced by Shaylor's son, Horace Woodbury (H. W.) Shaylor Jr..
H. W. Shaylor Jr. compiled many of his father's sketches into a photo album, which he gave to his daughter Georgina for Christmas.
This pencil sketch is of Trout Brook in North Gray. It was completed on August 23, 1913.
