Description
Central Maine Power Co. produced a brochure promoting the benefits of Maine Yankee nuclear power plant in 1975.
Central Maine Power was one of 12 New England utility companies that partnered to form the Yankee Atomic Energy Company in 1954. Maine Yankee, located in Wiscasset, went into commercial operation on December 28, 1972.
