Description
The energy crises of the 1970s brought an emphasis on energy conservation that included high-efficiency light bulbs, windows, appliances, and insulation products focused on home energy management.
Central Maine Power Co. and other utilities that had spent many years promoting electrical usage, now urged conservation.
