Description
Commenting on his 41 years – 1948-1989 – with Central Maine Power Co., Frank A. Packard said, "When hurricanes Carol and Edna hit in 1954, we worked 3 or 4 days straight, with maybe five hours off between shifts. It was a challenge, but it made you want to do the best you could do to get someone’s power back on."
