Description
This photograph captures a clear reflection on the surface of a flooded area. The photographer was George W. French, a native of Kezar Falls and a 1908 graduate of Bates College.
French took photographs of Maine economic and recreational scenes for the state Development Commission from 1936-1955. In the 1920s, he lived in New Jersey where he worked first for the Boy Scouts of America, and then as a professional photographer.
