Description
George W. French (1882-1970) photographed clothes lines hanging off of a residential building. A reflection of the clothes is show on the water beneath.
The photograph probably was taken in New Jersey, where French, a native of Kezar Falls, lived during the 1920s.
From 1936-1955, French was a photographer for the State of Maine. He worked for the Maine Development Commission, where he took pictures to promote tourism.
